Job Description


An established and growing diesel shop is seeking an organized effective Field Service Technician for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic job in Dodge City KS. The Heavy Equipment Technician position will need to travel across Kansas regularly for this position.


Compensation

$32.00 $45.00/hour to start. Benefits include:

Schedule

Day Shift Monday Friday; 8:00 am 5:00 pm; ample overtime is expected to accomodate fluctuating situations.


Requirements

  • Provide excellent inspection troubleshooting diagnostics and repairs of common and difficult issues pertaining to heavy equipment
  • Test and verify equipment
  • Knowledgeable in Diesel Manufacturers from Caterpillar Komatsu Kubota John Deere Terex LinkBelt Freightliner Kenworth Peterbilt International etc.
  • Experience with Cummins Caterpillar Detroit Diesel International etc. engine is ideal
  • Maintain strong customer service acumen/attitude
  • Valid CDL Class A or ability to secure within 90 days
