The Hotel Chadstone Melbourne MGallery is looking for an experienced Director of Sales & Marketing with an extensive 5 star luxury background to join our team. We are poised for a new era of growth and we seek a visionary leader to shape the trajectory of our hotel to even greater heights.
As Director of Sales & Marketing you will be the driving force behind our hotels market presence and revenue growth. Your strategic acumen and creative flair will shape campaigns that captivate engage and resonate with our diverse audience. Your role is not just about selling rooms restaurants and meeting space; its about curating a lifestyle an experience that defines the epitome of luxury.
You will be responsible for:
- Executing sales strategies for the Hotel across all market segments.
- Have a complete understanding of the Hotel sales vision; its products services and rate structure to fulfil business objectives.
- Actively sell all attributes of the Hotel including Conference facilities and Food and Beverage outlets.
- Develop a strategic plan for identifying major accounts and business opportunities.
- Ensure the Sales & Marketing team is maximising hotel revenue through effective pricing space management and conversion therefore increasing revenue in the key segments that generate the highest yield.
- Work collaboratively with the Director of Revenue to ensure ongoing research and analysis of product price and performance metrics in order to drive abovemarket performance and ensure room night and revenue targets are appropriately supported.
- Work with the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing and Director of Revenue to achieve optimum revpar/revenue/yield results for all segments of the business unit.
- Review weekly forecasts and market share reports and actively participate in ensuring business levels and market share is maintained.
- Explore opportunities for joint ventures with domestic industry partners that produce viable sales revenue.
- Establish a high profile across the region and with key accounts.
- Act as primary point of contact for the hotel including the coordination and leadership of site inspections to assist conversion.
Qualifications :
What were looking for
- 5 years experience in senior sales and marketing roles in a luxury hotel environment
- Proven track record of growing market share in targeted areas
- Proven experience working with Owners and Senior Management
- Strategic mindset with the ability to identify market trends and capitalise on emerging opportunities.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and presentation
- Excellent leadership skills and able to manage a diverse team
