Job Description
AVVie is an exciting early stage medical device company with an innovativeminimally invasive technology for the treatment of mitral valve disease.
If you are interested in joining a young and international startup active in medical technology in Vienna.
Tasks
Primary responsibility is to support the companys business development efforts focusing on funding investor relations and strategic partnerships to enable growth and innovation in the MedTech field.
- Identify funding opportunities including grants investors and venture capital and prepare applications or proposals.
- Build and maintain relationships with investors industry leaders and strategic partners.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities and support business decisionmaking.
- Collaborate with the executive team to align business goals with technical and clinical milestones.
- Prepare and deliver presentations business plans and pitch materials for investors and stakeholders.
- Represent the company at industry events meetings and networking opportunities.
- Monitor and report on business development metrics including funding progress and partnership activities.
Requirements
- Degree in Biomedical Engineering Business Administration or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in business development ideally in the MedTech or healthcare sector.
- Experience in a startup environment is highly preferred.
- Basic understanding of MedTech markets and regulatory environments.
- Strong networking skills and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in preparing business plans funding proposals or similar materials.
- Fluent in English; German proficiency is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment and managing multiple priorities.
