Job Description:
Augmentjobs is seeking a Senior Leveraged Finance Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting senior bankers in executing leveraged finance transactions including highyield debt leveraged loans and structuring deals for private equity clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex financial transactions and be a key player in a dynamic team. The Senior Leveraged Finance Associate will also lead financial analysis due diligence and help in the preparation of marketing materials.
Responsibilities:

Conduct financial modeling and valuations for leveraged buyouts and mergers & acquisitions (M&A) deals.

Analyze industry trends and perform indepth credit analysis of prospective borrowers.

Develop and deliver presentations and pitch materials to clients.

Assist in managing the structuring and execution of leveraged finance transactions.

Perform due diligence and collaborate with legal tax and accounting teams to close deals.

Work closely with junior team members providing guidance and mentorship.

Build and maintain relationships with clients investors and other key stakeholders.
Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.

MBA or relevant professional qualification (CFA CAIA etc.) preferred.

69 years of experience in leveraged finance investment banking or private equity.

Proven expertise in financial modeling credit analysis and structuring transactions.

Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and financial databases such as Bloomberg.
