Job Description: Generalist Senior Private Credit Associate

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Generalist Senior Private Credit Associate to join our private credit investment team. This role provides a unique opportunity to take a leadership position in the evaluation execution and management of private credit investments across diverse strategies including direct lending mezzanine debt structured credit and special situations. As a Senior Associate you will collaborate closely with senior professionals contribute to strategic decisionmaking and mentor junior team members while driving the firms credit investment objectives.

• Identify and evaluate private credit investment opportunities across various industries and credit products.
• Develop and oversee detailed financial models including cash flow projections sensitivity analyses and return metrics.
• Perform indepth credit analysis assessing financial statements market conditions and capital structures.
• Prepare comprehensive investment memoranda and present recommendations to investment committees.

• Lead components of the transaction process including due diligence structuring and negotiating terms.
• Coordinate with external advisors including legal financial and technical experts to validate transaction assumptions.
• Manage the closing process ensuring compliance with internal standards and documentation requirements.

• Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance by analyzing financial metrics covenant compliance and risk exposures.
• Work with portfolio company management teams to implement operational improvements and valuecreation strategies.
• Support refinancing recapitalization or exit processes for portfolio investments.
• Prepare regular reports and updates on portfolio performance for senior leadership and external stakeholders.

• Stay abreast of market trends economic developments and regulatory changes impacting private credit investments.
• Contribute to the development of sectorspecific investment strategies and longterm firm objectives.
• Identify and pursue emerging opportunities within the private credit landscape.

• Mentor and support junior team members providing guidance on credit analysis financial modeling and transaction management.
• Collaborate with senior professionals to enhance the firms investment processes and operational efficiencies.
• Represent the firm in interactions with counterparties advisors and industry stakeholders.

• Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Accounting Business Administration or a related field (required).
• Advanced degree (MBA or Masters in Finance) or CFA designation (preferred but not required).

• 5 7 years of experience in private credit investment banking fixed income or related fields.
• Demonstrated track record in credit underwriting deal execution and portfolio management.

• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and credit analysis with expertise in Excel and other analytical tools.
• Deep understanding of private credit markets loan structures and risk management principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and effectively.
• Highly organized and detailoriented with the ability to manage multiple transactions and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in financial databases such as Bloomberg Preqin or S&P Capital IQ.
