Job Description: Summer Infrastructure Private Equity Associate
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our team as a Summer Infrastructure Private Equity Associate. This 10 12 week internship offers a unique opportunity to gain handson experience in infrastructure private equity investing working closely with experienced professionals on live transactions market research and portfolio management. As a Summer Associate you will contribute to highimpact projects in sectors such as renewable energy transportation utilities and digital infrastructure while gaining exposure to the full investment lifecycle.
- Conduct indepth market research to identify and evaluate potential infrastructure investment opportunities.
- Build and refine financial models including DCF LBO and sensitivity analyses to assess investment viability and risk.
- Analyze operational and financial data market trends and industry dynamics to support investment decisions.
- Assist in preparing detailed investment memoranda and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in due diligence processes including financial legal technical and market analysis.
- Collaborate with external advisors to gather insights and validate assumptions.
- Support the execution of transactions including structuring negotiation and closing processes.
- Assist in managing data rooms and coordinating communication among stakeholders.
- Monitor the performance of portfolio assets by analyzing financial and operational metrics.
- Collaborate with portfolio company management teams to implement valuecreation strategies.
- Assist in preparing performance reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with senior team members to contribute to investment strategies and sectorspecific theses.
- Participate in team discussions on market trends regulatory developments and emerging opportunities in the infrastructure sector.
- Gain exposure to decisionmaking processes at the firms highest levels.
- Currently pursuing an MBA or other advanced degree in Finance Economics Business Administration or a related field.
- Strong academic track record with demonstrated interest in infrastructure or private equity.
- 2 4 years of prior experience in private equity investment banking management consulting project finance or related fields.
- Experience in infrastructure energy or largescale capital projects is a strong advantage.
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills including proficiency in Excel.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly.
- Familiarity with tools such as PowerPoint and relevant databases (e.g. Bloomberg Preqin PitchBook).
- Understanding of infrastructure sectors project finance structures and regulatory environments is preferred.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and resultsoriented approach.
- Strong interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Passion for infrastructure investing and a commitment to driving value creation.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced setting.
