Job Description: Senior Real Estate Private Equity Associate

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Real Estate Private Equity Associate to join our investment team. This role offers the opportunity to take a leadership position in evaluating executing and managing complex real estate transactions while contributing to the overall strategy and growth of our real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate brings strong financial acumen real estate expertise and experience working on highvalue investment transactions in a collaborative fastpaced environment.

• Identify and evaluate real estate investment opportunities across various asset classes and geographies.
• Conduct indepth market research and competitive analysis to support investment decisions.
• Lead the underwriting process by building complex financial models including IRR DCF and sensitivity analysis.
• Prepare and present investment memoranda and recommendations to senior leadership and investment committees.

• Oversee all aspects of the transaction process including due diligence financial structuring and closing coordination.
• Negotiate deal terms and contracts with brokers lenders and other stakeholders to ensure favorable outcomes.
• Collaborate with external advisors such as legal financial and technical consultants to facilitate smooth transactions.
• Develop and implement financing strategies including securing debt and equity funding for acquisitions.

• Monitor the performance of portfolio assets by analyzing financial and operational metrics and KPIs.
• Work with asset management teams to execute business plans including leasing repositioning and operational enhancements.
• Develop and implement valuecreation strategies to optimize asset performance and maximize returns.
• Assist in planning and executing exit strategies including dispositions refinancing or recapitalizations.

• Contribute to the development of the firms real estate investment strategy including sector theses and geographic focus.
• Stay updated on industry trends economic conditions and regulatory changes impacting the real estate sector.
• Mentor and guide junior team members providing feedback and supporting their professional growth.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives and investor relations efforts.

• Bachelors degree in Finance Real Estate Economics or a related field (required).
• Advanced degree (MBA Masters in Real Estate or CFA designation) is strongly preferred.

• 5 7 years of experience in real estate private equity investment banking or asset management.
• Proven track record of executing real estate transactions and managing portfolio assets.

• Advanced financial modeling and valuation expertise including proficiency with Argus Excel and related tools.
• Deep understanding of real estate markets investment strategies and asset management principles.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to make datadriven recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
• Proficiency in industry databases and tools such as CoStar Yardi and REIS.
