Position Summary: We are seeking a passionate and detailoriented Architectural Technician/Designer to work closely with project architects and interior designers. The role involves developing detailed drawings and contributing to innovative designs for commercial buildings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on challenge and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Utilize Revit software to develop and revise architectural designs and drawings.
Plan and layout interior room arrangements for commercial building projects.
Assist architects in analyzing local building codes site limitations space requirements and specifications.
Coordinate with electrical mechanical and structural subconsultants to determine the best methods for assembling plans.
Organize and maintain a structured file system for drawings adhering to company standards.
Ensure adherence to accurate design standards and procedures.
Determine design criteria drawing sequences and presentations under direct supervision.
Perform routine technical duties and assist in project development.
Tackle nonroutine assignments involving substantial variety and complexity using independent judgment and assisting with calculations and project detail development.
Qualifications:
Minimum Associates degree; Bachelors degree in Architecture preferred.
25 years of relevant onthejob experience.
Proficiency in Revit software.
Experience producing renderings is a plus.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
