A manufacturing company is seeking to hire a Financial Analyst. Looking for a candidate who has strong experience with operating expenses. Additionally seeking someone who has previously utilized SAP Power BI and/or Adaptive Insights. The ideal candidate is proficient in Excel has a background handling financial modeling and data analytics tasks and has relevant ERP experience.
Responsibilities:
- Compile review analyze and record financial information to the general ledger at the Bank level; administer monthly quarterly and annual closings and associated reporting.
- Prepare daily weekly and monthly reconciliations to ensure general ledger account information is accurate consistent traceable and auditable; maintain SOX key controls.
- Troubleshoot accounting issues; with various stakeholders.
- Support the Function Bank and System through participating in projects and work groups generally related to their areas of expertise.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and financial accounting and reporting controls.
- Administer and maintain timely accurate accounting and reporting processes.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree (Accounting business or finance major)
- Knowledge and application of basic accounting financial and business principles
- Understanding of internal controls and accounting operations
- Technical proficiency in using Microsoft Applications with advanced expertise in excel
Associates Degree preferred. Proficient with MS Office, with an emphasis on Excel spreadsheets and data entry skills. Minimum of 2 years experience with Accounts Payable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully in a team environment. Attention to detail and accuracy. Judgment, and analyzing information. Communication skills, vendor relationships Problem-solving skills Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
