highly organized and resultsdriven PROCUREMENT SUPERVISOR to oversee and manage the
procurement activities
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and supplier improvements.
Identify evaluate and establish relationships with reliable suppliers.
Negotiate contracts terms and pricing to achieve favorable outcomes.
Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality delivery and compliance standards are met.
Oversee daily purchasing activities including requisitions purchase orders and inventory
replenishment.
Ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules.
Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and inventory levels.
Continuously evaluate procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
Collaborate with finance to prepare and manage procurement budgets.
Ensure procurement activities adhere to company policies ethical standards and legal
requirements.
Mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions by developing contingency plans.
Supervise and mentor procurement staff fostering professional development and teamwork.
Set performance goals and regularly evaluate team performance.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
6 years of experience in procurement preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience in supplier negotiation and contract management.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes supply chain management and ERP systems.
Excellent analytical organizational and problemsolving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
Certification in procurement or supply chain (e.g. CIPS CPSM) is a plus.
Bachelor's Degree in Law or related discipline with 15 years of hands-on experience as head of legal/regulatory compliance in a significant manufacturing concern. Work experience in an internal audit environment Admission into Bar and the ability to think outside the box and demonstrate commercial application of legal knowledge is necessary. In-depth knowledge of the industry s standards and regulations. Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping. A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality. An analytical mind able to "see" the complexities of procedures and regulations. Excellent communication skills.
