Job Description:
We are looking for a TCOE Manager/Lead to take charge of establishing managing and optimizing our Test Center of Excellence (TCOE) within a fastpaced highimpact technology environment. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and expertise in quality assurance and testing practices with a focus on driving continuous improvement and innovation across testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
TCOE Leadership & Strategy:
- Define and implement the overall strategy for the Test Center of Excellence (TCOE) to standardize and elevate testing processes across the organization.
- Establish and promote testing best practices tools and methodologies (manual and automated) to improve efficiency reduce defects and deliver highquality products.
- Lead and manage TCOE operations across multiple projects ensuring testing goals are aligned with business objectives and project timelines.
Process Improvement & Quality Excellence:
- Identify gaps in current testing processes and drive continuous process improvements to optimize test execution and quality assurance practices.
- Develop and implement testing metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of testing activities.
- Ensure rigorous adherence to established testing methodologies including Agile Waterfall and DevOps approaches and guide teams in best practices for each.
CrossFunctional Collaboration:
- Partner with project managers developers business analysts and other stakeholders to understand testing requirements and ensure alignment of testing activities with project goals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all testrelated escalations issues and inquiries providing timely solutions to ensure testing progresses smoothly.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on matters related to software quality testing processes and risk mitigation.
Test Automation & Tools Management:
- Lead the selection implementation and integration of test automation frameworks and tools ensuring scalability and alignment with development pipelines.
- Champion the use of automation in testing to increase efficiency and reduce timetomarket while maintaining high test coverage.
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and tools recommending and implementing improvements to the TCOE s testing toolset.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
- 15 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- 5 years of experience in leading or managing a Test Center of Excellence (TCOE) or leading QA teams within large complex organizations.
- Demonstrated success in building and implementing testing strategies that scale across multiple projects or teams.
Testing Expertise:
- Strong knowledge and handson experience with Agile Waterfall and DevOps testing methodologies.
- Proven expertise in test automation tools (e.g. Selenium QTP LoadRunner JUnit TestNG etc.) and manual testing techniques.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g. Jira ALM/Quality Center TestRail etc.) and defect tracking systems.
Process & Continuous Improvement:
- Experience in driving process improvements optimizing testing workflows and managing test environments.
- A strong focus on quality and detail with a commitment to delivering highquality results on time and within budget.
Risk Management:
- Skilled in identifying managing and mitigating testing risks that may impact project timelines quality or resources.
