Job Description

Job Overview:

The Local MRO Buyer will be responsible for procuring materials supplies and services for industrial plants ensuring alignment with company standards and objectives. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in managing global agreements global sourcing and working with industrial plants maintenance repair and operations (MRO).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source negotiate and procure materials supplies and services to meet plant operational needs.
  • Manage and optimize global agreements and supplier relationships ensuring costeffectiveness and compliance.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for global sourcing to enhance procurement efficiency.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and ensure alignment with quality and delivery standards.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and reports to monitor and improve purchasing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support plant maintenance and operational needs.
  • Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in MRO procurement within industrial plants.
  • Proven experience in managing global agreements and global sourcing.
  • Strong negotiation analytical and decisionmaking skills.
  • Proficient in procurement software and Online search tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be located in Jubail or willing to relocate.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g. CIPS CPSM) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations and best practices.
