Job Description

Ibis Styles Debrecen Airport hotel is looking for its Executive chef.

We are looking for a passionate talent who will support the successful opening of our second Accor hotel in Debrecen as Executive chef. The amazing new built hotel is set to open in Spring 2025 with 88 rooms lobby restaurant bar & meeting facilities operated under Accors ibis Styles brand.

The Executive Chef is primarily responsible for the complete organization management and control of the F&B and Kitchens work. He / She performs highquality professional work to ensure impeccable and economical management of restaurant bar and events based on audit expectations. Organizes and effectively manages the operation of the team working in the kitchen and F&B. He / she actively participates in the creation of new offerings in determining the selection of promotions and events. He / she constantly monitors guest experience and develops special offers for its continuous elevation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Full management and control of tasks related to the kitchen and F&B (kitchen layout purchase of kitchen equipment and tools development of processes etc.)
  • Smooth and professional management of his / her departments operation; ensuring and developing professional standards
  • Menus daily and seasonal offers compilation of menus for groups and events prioritizing the offerings of local producers; continuous monitoring of current gastronomic trends
  • Inspecting the prepared food and supervising its serving
  • Monitoring the quality of goods in the kitchen
  • Compliance and enforcement of public health regulations (HACCP)
  • Continuous contact with suppliers and other departments of the hotel especially sales
  • Personal communication and continuous contact with guests

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years of professional and managerial experience in a restaurant / hotel
  • Experience in the field of cost management and HACCP
  • Vocational training certificate in hospitality /catering
  • Fluent in Hungarian intermediate English knowledge
  • Excellent communication and problemsolving skills
  • High level of organizing motivating and cooperation skills
  • Guest and qualityfocused attitude
  • Team management skills outstanding team leader handson person
