About us
BetterQA a leader in Quality Assurance and Software Testing Services is looking for a seasoned midQA tester to join our clients team. This role demands a keen understanding of both manual and automation testing principles while collaborating with a diverse team to deliver highquality features consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft and execute detailed test plans and strategies aligned with project goals including defining the testing scope objectives and key deliverables.
- Lead the prioritization and management of both manual and automated test cases ensuring thorough execution and coordination with development teams for defect resolution.
- Oversee testing progress reporting on metrics and enforcing quality standards and practices while continuously seeking improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.
- Guide and support the testing team promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation and work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure testing aligns with overall project objectives.
- Communicate proactively with all stakeholders providing updates highlighting risks with mitigation plans and presenting test outcomes to inform decisionmaking.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in software testing with at least 2 years in a clientfacing role.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies tools and best practices.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Cypress Selenium Playwright)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. ISTQB CSTE) are preferred.
- Languages: Fluency in Arabic & English is a must.
