Job Description
A global bank is seeking a highly skilled Full stack Developer to join our dynamic team at a leading financial institution in Singapore.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both frontend and backend development with expertise in JavaScript TypeScript and Node.js for the frontend and Java Spring/Spring Boot for the backend. You will be responsible for developing maintaining and enhancing our financial platforms and applications ensuring high performance security and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design develop and implement highquality software solutions for our financial products and services.
Frontend Development: Build responsive and userfriendly interfaces using JavaScript TypeScript and Node.js. Ensure a seamless user experience by integrating with internal APIs and implementing robust clientside logic.
Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java Spring and Spring Boot. Optimize serverside performance and ensure data integrity and security.
Work on integrating various financial systems and thirdparty services ensuring smooth data flow and interoperability.
Write clean maintainable and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices including code reviews testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
Diagnose and resolve technical issues across the stack providing support for both development and production environments.
Collaborate with product managers designers and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and deliverables.
Skills & Qualifications:
Profound handson JavaScript/TypeScript programming skills
Deep knowledge of current JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS) and technologies (Typescript Node.js)
Familiarity with frontend build tools and package managers (e.g. Webpack NPM).
Core Java & related utilities/libraries particularly collections JSON JDBC Maven.
Spring Framework including Spring Boot JDBC templates and JPA.
Excellent decisionmaking and problemsolving skills.
Basic understanding of Unix Operating system and bash scripting
Good code review skills and pride in code quality
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects to work in an agile environment.
Work experience in the financial industry preferable
