As an earlystage company were shaping the future of our infrastructure and are seeking a highly motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer to join our tightknit team. This is an opportunity to work directly with the CTO wear many hats and play a critical role in building and maintaining a worldclass infrastructure that supports diverse application requirements.

Job Summary

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help define build and optimize the infrastructure that powers Hub. As we plan to migrate from Digital Ocean to AWS this role will guide critical decisions on tools technologies and processes to ensure scalability security and reliability. Youll have the autonomy to shape the future of our systems solve complex challenges and collaborate with a team that values excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Strategy: Define and implement the tools and practices that will serve as the foundation of our infrastructure with options such as Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Cloud Migration and Management: Lead the transition from Digital Ocean to AWS designing systems that scale and meet the demands of a growing platform.
• CI/CD Implementation: Build and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines to streamline development and ensure rapid safe deployments.
• Containerization and Orchestration: Manage containerized applications using tools like Docker and Kubernetes ensuring reliable and efficient orchestration.
• WorldClass Operations: Ensure the infrastructure supports a highperforming application with diverse requirements including high availability fault tolerance and global scalability.
• Monitoring and Optimization: Implement robust monitoring logging and alerting systems to proactively address performance or reliability issues.
• CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with backend engineers frontend developers and leadership to align infrastructure with application needs.
• HandsOn Problem Solving: Be ready to contribute to other engineering tasks or challenges as they arise in a fastpaced startup environment.

Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong background in cloud infrastructure with experience designing and managing scalable secure environments on platforms like AWS or Digital Ocean.
• Proficiency with tools for Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform and familiarity with modern deployment practices.
• Experience with containerization (e.g. Docker) and orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as GitHub Actions or similar.
• Strong understanding of system administration on Linux/Ubuntu and configuring web servers.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools to maintain high system reliability.

• Strong problemsolving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Highly motivated to learn adapt and build systems that can support globalscale applications.
• Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills and a readiness to wear multiple hats.
