Job Summary: As a Truck Driver for Remote Mechanic Jobs you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting equipment materials and goods to and from job sites. You will work closely with our team of mechanics and technicians to ensure timely delivery and pickup of equipment and materials. This is a fulltime permanent position with the potential for growth within the company. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a variety of trucks including flatbeds box trucks and pickup trucks to transport equipment materials and goods to and from job sites. Plan and execute efficient routes to meet delivery and pickup schedules. Inspect vehicles before and after each trip reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate team members. Load and unload equipment and materials using proper safety procedures. Communicate regularly with dispatch to provide updates on delivery and pickup status. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups including mileage fuel usage and any incidents or delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations as well as company policies and procedures. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of jobs. Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Class A or B commercial drivers license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Minimum of 2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles. Familiarity with Union City CA and surrounding areas. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for operating commercial vehicles. Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work occasional weekends and overtime as needed.
