Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Delivery Planning:
Create detailed project plans outlining timelines key milestones and
deliverables.
Monitor project progress to ensure timely completion within set deadlines.
2. Budget Preparation and Cost Control:
Develop and manage project budgets.
Track expenses identify costsaving opportunities and ensure cost control
throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Insourcing and Outsourcing Planning:
Strategically plan inhouse and outsourced activities related to tool element
manufacturing.
Ensure seamless coordination between inhouse and external suppliers to
meet project demands.
4. Procurement of Tool Standard Elements:
Manage the procurement of standard tool elements from external suppliers.
Negotiate with vendors to ensure competitive pricing quality and timely
delivery.
5. Inhouse Machining Coordination:
Coordinate inhouse machining activities ensuring alignment with project
schedules.
Oversee process planning scheduling and cost estimation for machining
operations.
6. Tool Assembly Trial and Debugging:
Oversee the assembly of tools and ensure timely trials and debugging to
resolve any issues.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to address technical challenges and
ensure tool readiness.
7. Problem Solving:
Lead troubleshooting efforts during the tool development process.
Analyze and address production issues ensuring minimal disruption to
timelines and quality.
8. Part Qualification and Handover:
Oversee the part qualification process ensuring that tools meet customer
specifications and quality standards.
Facilitate smooth handover of finished tools and parts to customers or internal
stakeholders.
9. Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders providing
regular updates on project status.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including design production and
procurement to ensure project success.
