Job Description
Join us as a Software Developer III (Java/Python) in Canada. This is a fulltime role with remote work options available to candidates based in Canada.
Role Overview:
As a Software Developer you will play a crucial role in a project for one of our Fortune 500 clients. We are seeking a candidate with at least 6 years of handson software development experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java and Python and experience working with cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design develop and maintain highquality software solutions.
- Use Java and Python to develop scalable and efficient applications.
- Design and implement microservices and RESTful web services for seamless integration.
- Leverage AWS cloud services to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD practices utilizing tools like Jenkins to integrate with GitHub and Artifactory.
- Demonstrate expertise in server programming databases SQL queries and cloud architecture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- At least 6 years of solid software development experience.
- Proficiency in Java and Python development.
- Handson experience with Microservices and RESTful web services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Serverless.
- Extensive knowledge of AWS cloud services.
- Experience with automation frameworks like Pytest or Nightwatch.
