Job Description for the Receptionist position

As a receptionist you will be the first point of contact for our clients visitors and employees. You will be responsible for greeting visitors answering phone calls and managing a range of administrative duties. Your role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth daytoday operations within the office.

Key Responsibilities for the Receptionist position

  • Greet and assist visitors ensuring they are directed to the appropriate person or department.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage scheduling for meetings appointments and conference room bookings.
  • Maintain the front desk area in a clean and organized manner.
  • Handle general administrative tasks such as filing data entry and document preparation.
  • Receive and distribute mail and packages.
  • Assist with office supplies inventory and ordering.
  • Provide general support to other departments as needed.

Qualifications for the Receptionist position

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative or office training is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook Teams).
  • Positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
