Job Description
Commercial Journeyman Electrician
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team specializing in commercial new build/construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical installations troubleshooting and maintenance in commercial environments. This role requires adherence to safety standards attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical installations maintenance and repairs on commercial construction sites.
- Read and interpret blueprints schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Install connect test and maintain electrical systems and components including lighting power distribution and control systems.
- Ensure compliance with all electrical codes standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with project managers contractors and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain tools equipment and work areas in a safe and organized manner.
- Adhere to safety protocols and participate in safety training and meetings.
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Electrician License required (TDLR)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial electrical work specifically in new build/construction environments.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems including wiring circuits and control systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

Compensation:
- $28$32 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
