Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Generalist Private Equity Associate to join our investment team. The Associate will play a critical role in sourcing analyzing and executing investment opportunities as well as supporting portfolio management efforts. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior investment professionals and gain handson experience in the private equity industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough financial analysis including valuation modeling cash flow analysis and performance benchmarking of potential investments.
- Assist in the due diligence process including market research competitor analysis and operational assessments.
- Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of portfolio companies providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Support the fundraising process by preparing marketing materials and participating in investor meetings.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including legal finance and operational experts to facilitate successful deal execution.
- Stay updated on market trends industry developments and competitive landscape.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Business or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- 24 years of experience in private equity investment banking management consulting or related fields.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced teamoriented environment.
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Salary Range:
- $100000 $150000 per year depending on experience and qualifications plus performancebased bonuses and potential carried interest.
