13 weeks Varied 12hour shift 36 hours per week guaranteed

The Center for Women and Families is a highreliability teamoriented department serving a diverse population of patients from our three area counties. The center provides evidencebased care to Pediatric Gynecological and Obstetrical patients in collaboration with local OB/GYN physicians Certified Nurse Midwives Pediatric Hospitalists Lactation Consultants and a highly skilled nursing team. The delivery rate averages 850 births per year and a low primary Csection rate validated by national recognition for prevention of the first Csection in collaboration with OB provider groups. The Center for Women and Families is a member of the Oregon Maternal Data Collaborative participating in statewide safety initiatives and QI data collection with an active team of nurses who demonstrate a longterm commitment to advancing care and supporting the patient and family throughout the lifespan.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Experience:
- GSR Labor and Delivery:
- Basic Fetal Monitoring skills preferred.
- Labor and Delivery experience preferred.
- OR/CSection circulation experience preferred.
- GSR Special Care Nursery:
- Special Care Nursery Level II or III or equivalent experience in the care and stabilization of sick neonates is preferred.
- GSR Mother Baby Unit:
- Basic Perinatal nursing Med/Surg and/or Mother/Baby postdelivery experience preferred.
- GSR Pediatric:
- Acute Care Pediatric experience preferred.
Education:
- Verification of a high school diploma or equivalent is required due to the College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for moderate complexity testing.
Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
- Healthcare Provider AHA Level BLS/BCLS required.
- NRP required.
- STABLE strongly preferred.
- Perinatalrelated RNC certification is preferred.
- GSR Labor and Delivery:
- ACLS required.
- GSR Pediatric:
- PALS required.
EMR System: EPIC Knowledge/experience preferred
Shift: Varied rotating weekends
