Job Description
Position: XRay/Radiologic Technologist
Start Date: 12/16/2024
Duration: 13 Weeks
Location: Petoskey MI 49770
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Afternoons 1:00 PM 9:00 PM 10
Shift Notes: 58 hour shifts of 1 pm9 pm. One week of call per month of 9p 67a Monday through Thursday; and Friday 7 pm through Monday 6 am.
Weekend Requirements: na
OnCall Requirements: One week of call per month of 9p 67a Monday through Thursday; and Friday 7 pm through Monday 6 am.
COVID Vaccination: na
Travel Policy: Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates 35mile radius restriction)
Dress Code: matching scrubs
Further Specifics:
- Nonbillable Hours: 12 hours of initial hours
- OT/Holiday/Call back Markups: 1.1x Regular rates
- Extension Discount: $1/hr on the initial extension.
Performs a variety of imaging procedures consistent with established policies and procedures at a technical level typically requiring general supervision.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Gives straightforward explanations and instructions to foster a sense of comfort and confidence in patients and ensure the needs of individual patients are met.
- Operates and maintains all assigned imaging department equipment including but not limited to xray.
- Positions patients and uses radiologic equipment to correctly capture the images requested by a physician.
- Accurately performs all imaging exams as ordered following established policies procedures regulations and laws; ensures the physician on duty is notified of the results.

- Experience with Xray Required

- BLS must be AHA must be willing to obtain before start

- References NOT required.
- A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required. All other professions outside of Nursing are not required but preferred.
- Michigan license verification is required for nurses. Please provide LARA and Nursys; if there is a license hit it would be in the travelers best interest to provide a writeup of what happened for the managers review.
- Physical copies of certifications are only required in the profile if listed above.
- Fulltime employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
