Job Description

Position Title: Desktop Support Technician(US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote


We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to and resolve technical issues reported by users via helpdesk tickets phone or inperson.
  • Provide support for hardware software and peripheral devices including desktops laptops printers and mobile devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues including operating systems applications and network connectivity.
  • Perform regular system maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance.
  • Install configure and maintain desktop hardware operating systems and applications.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up workstations and user accounts.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to resolve networkrelated issues and provide connectivity support.
  • Support VPN access and troubleshoot remote connectivity problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Document processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Educate users on best practices IT policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance on software usage and basic troubleshooting techniques.
Qualifications:
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) or ITIL Foundation are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role.
  • Experience with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Experience with Active Directory Office 365 and remote support tools.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP DNS DHCP).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Federal Experience is a plus.
  • Required Security clearance.
