Job Description
McLaren Northern Michigan is looking for a Urologist to provide IP/OP coverage starting in December!

Practice setting: Inpatient and Outpatient call coverage. When the Locums is here there is an expectation of covering outpatient office and elective procedures as well as inpatient emergent calls.
Percentage of practice: peds 1% adult 80% geriatric 19%
Outpatient 90% Inpatient 10%
Average number of office/clinic patients per day: 1520
Average number of hospital based surgeries per day: 12 emergent 68 on elective surgery days
Support staff: MA and receptionist
Office equipment: PVR and Urolflow disposable cystoscopes bladder scanner
Trauma level: 2
Malpractice must be included in rates
Orientation 1/2 the hourly rate
On call daily to include 8 hours of patient care
Holiday/OT 1.5x
Weekend call per 24 hours of call Sat/Sun
Call back per hour of patient contact hours
Conversion rate
Expenses covered by client will not exceed the limitations listed in the Travel & Expense policy between McLaren Health Care & AHSA.
Reverse Invoicing Provider will use Kronos to clock in/out. No paper timesheets will be used.
Requirement description : All must be notated at time of name clear
- Rates MUST be submitted at time of name clear will not be sent over without Required no exceptions
- BC Urology Required
- BLS Required
- DEA Verbal Confirmation Required at Name Clear
- Clean Background Required for quick privileging (provider will be redirected for multiple MP cases or high payouts)
- MI License in hand Required at time of clear
- COVID Vaccine
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
- BLS (AHA)
- Board Certified
STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
- Michigan
ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
