Job Description
We are seeking an additional experienced Board Eligible/Board Certified OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our practice at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose CA. Ranked One of the Top 5 Happiest Cites and Best Places to Live for Quality of Life in the US and Enjoy Over 300 Days of Sunshine a Year!
Job Description:
- At least 1 year of current inpatient Hospitalist work experience is required. Must be able to provide at interview the last 12 months worth of case logs from a hospital setting.
- Our Hospitalists provide 24/7 inhouse coverage and are supported by our group of MaternalFetal Medicine physicians.
- Responsibilities will include delivery attendance Ob triage patient evaluation and management surgical assists fetal monitoring and ER coverage.
- Good Samaritan is a Regional Perinatal Center with a Level III NICU and our affiliated Neonatologists.
- The ideal candidate will hold an active CA license.
- This is a permanent fulltime position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.
- Not open to commuters and/or those looking for secondary employment
- Will not accept candidates with lapsed Board Certification who need to obtain it again
- Not accepting Locums candidates
- Not accepting visa candidates

Requirement description :
ALL OF THE FOLLOWING ARE REQUIRED AT NAME CLEAR UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.
- TRULY Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in OB/GYN REQUIRED
- Active CA license (or in process) REQUIRED
- At least 1 year of current inpatient Hospitalist work experience is required. Must be able to provide at interview the last 12 months worth of case logs from a hospital setting. REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice and license history HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Does the provider require visa support J1 or H1B (note in Additional Submission Details field) REQUIRED

Weekend Requirements : Fulltime is 2190 hours annually (7.5 24hour shifts/month)
