DHCF is seeking an experienced Senior Azure Cloud Administrator to architect implement and manage their organizations Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Cloud Administrator to architect implement and manage our organizations Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in Azure services cloud architecture principles and enterprisescale cloud operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and implement Azure cloud solutions aligned with business requirements and best practices
- Manage and optimize Azure infrastructure including virtual networks storage compute resources and PaaS services
- Lead cloud security implementation and compliance initiatives
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity solutions
- Monitor and optimize cloud costs and resource utilization
- Automate cloud operations using Azure DevOps PowerShell and ARM templates
- Implement and maintain Identity and Access Management (Azure AD)
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior cloud engineers
- Drive cloud adoption and migration initiatives
- Establish and maintain cloud governance frameworks
- Demonstrates expertise in conveying technical and functional concepts for a specific technical specialty.
- Identifies improvements to project standards to achieve high quality services/products.
- Identifies best practices and standards for the use of the product.
- Delivers support and design for industry specific technologies that require integration with systems or networks.
- Interacts with executive level business users or technical experts.
- Functions as a niche technical SME.
- Lead experience with technical expertise across large complex implementations for systems.
Required Skills
- 16 yrs. conveying technical and functional concepts for a specific technical specialty
- 16 yrs. preparing complex technical documentation
- 10 years of experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform
- 5 years of handson experience with Azure cloud services
- 3 years of experience in cloud architecture and design
- 2 years of experience leading technical teams or projects
- Current Azure certifications (AZ303/304 AZ500 or equivalent)
- Expert knowledge of Azure core services:
- Azure Virtual Machines and Virtual Networks
- Azure Storage solutions
