Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT Security Specialist to oversee the security of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing access controls conducting security audits and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This role requires collaboration with IT clinical and compliance teams to protect patient data effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA HITECH and other regulations.
- Manage user access provisioning and rolebased access controls (RBAC).
- Conduct regular security audits to identify and mitigate risks.
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate breach notification processes.
- Collaborate with implementation teams to integrate security measures in new features.
