Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to oversee incident management and resolution processes within an IT service management framework. The ideal candidate will be responsible for prioritizing and escalating IT incidents coordinating major incident responses and implementing effective solutions to enhance IT service performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and improve incident management processes ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and trend analyses to identify areas for service improvement.
- Collaborate with service owners and customers to establish incident resolution expectations.
- Utilize ServiceNow for ticketing and tracking incidents effectively.
- Facilitate communication across all levels of leadership to resolve IT incidents.
MustHave Technical Skills:
- 46 years of experience in Incident Management.
- Proficient understanding of ITIL principles.
- Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook Visio PowerPoint Excel).
- Proven ability to develop and provide service level agreements.
Plusses:
- ITIL certification is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in State Government is an advantage.
