Job Description

Position: IT Security Architect IV
Location: Richmond VA 23225
Client: State of Virginia
Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Architect IV to develop and write System Security Plans (SSPs) for suppliers and enterprise applications. This role involves collaborating with business units to ensure compliance with security controls and risk management standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business units to gather and analyze information for SSP creation.
  • Conduct interviews with stakeholders to understand security needs and system components.
  • Evaluate security control responses and identify gaps for remediation.
  • Ensure compliance with COV SEC530 and NIST 80053 standards.
  • Develop documentation outlining security measures risk assessments and vulnerabilities.

Required Skills:

  • 7 years of solid seniorlevel IT Security experience.
  • 5 years in Security Architecture Design writing SSPs and conducting security assessments.
  • 4 years of compliance knowledge especially in NIST 80053 and COV SEC530.
  • 2 years of collaboration and crossfunctional coordination experience.
