Job Description
Job Title: Front End React Developer
Location: 100% REMOTE with onsite travel
Duration: 06 Months CTH
Overview:
Our client a mortgage underwriting company is seeking an experienced React Developer to join their expanding team! You will join a team of Developers and other technologists to develop out new software features within an existing application.
This position is a contract to hire role and 100% remote however candidates must sit in the Salt Lake City Utah region.
Job Summary:
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Frontend React Engineer with a deep understanding of React and JavaScript to join our team. As a key player in our organization you will play a pivotal role in developing disruptive products for the Real Estate industry directly impacting the companys growth. Your work on the Real Estate Services products will involve utilizing the latest technologies and delivering exceptional value to our customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop features and improvements to the Radian products in a secure welltested and performant way.
- Develop and maintain userfriendly and responsive interfaces for mobile and web applications.
- Youll work with Product Management and other stakeholders (Backend UX etc.) to iterate on new features.
- Craft code that meets our internal standards for style maintainability and best practices for a highscale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.
- Consistently ship small features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members. Collaborate with the team on larger projects.
- Youll help improve the overall experience of our product through improving the quality of the Frontend features both in your group and features that benefit other groups.
- Youll help identify areas of improvements in the code base both specific to your group and outside your group (eg. component library) and help contribute to make it better.
- Youll learn collaborate and teach other Frontend Engineers. Everyone can contribute something new to the team regardless of how long theyve been in the industry.
- Youll fix prioritized issues from the issue tracker.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional experience with Angular React React Native ASP.NET or another modern JavaScript web framework (Vue Ember etc)
- Working knowledge of Java C# or nodeJS
- Understanding of Dockerbased applications in a cloud environment
- Proficiency in utilizing AI assistant tools such as Github Copilot or similar platforms.
- Experience using Git in a professional/workplace environment
- A solid understanding in core web and browser concepts (eg. how the browser parses and constructs a web page)
- A solid understanding of semantic HTML CSS and core JavaScript concepts.
- Proficiency in the English language both written and verbal sufficient for success in a remote and largely asynchronous work environment
- Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical architectural and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions
- Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems
- Comfort working in a highly agile intensely iterative software development process
- Demonstrated ability to onboard and integrate with an organization longterm
- Positive and solutionoriented mindset
- Effective communication skills: Regularly achieve consensus with peers and clear status updates
- An inclination towards communication inclusion and visibility
- Selfmotivated and selfmanaging with great organizational skills.
