Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are looking for a Data Analyst Trainee to join our team and support data analysis projects. As a trainee you will work closely with senior analysts and other team members to learn key skills and tools used in data collection analysis and reporting. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals looking to transition into a career in data analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in collecting cleaning and processing data from various sources to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends patterns and insights.
- Help generate reports and dashboards using data visualization tools (e.g. Excel Power BI Tableau).
- Support the development and implementation of data models and analytics solutions.
- Work with team members to create and maintain databases and ensure efficient data storage.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to the development of datadriven solutions.
- Continuously learn about data analysis best practices tools and technologies.
- Participate in team meetings and assist in brainstorming solutions to complex data challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science Statistics Mathematics Economics or Business Analytics) or equivalent.
- Strong interest in data analysis data science or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of data analysis tools and software (e.g. Excel SQL Python R etc.).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI) is a plus.
- Ability to work with large datasets and clean/transform data for analysis.
- Strong problemsolving skills with an analytical mindset.
- Detailoriented with a passion for accuracy and data integrity.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
