Role Introduction:
The ESL Teacher will work closely with classroom teachers and specialists to ensure the achievement of English Language Learners (ELLs) across all content areas. This role involves lesson planning administering assessments and collaborating with other professionals to enhance the educational experience of middle school ELL students. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about helping students succeed academically and socially.
Requirements
A valid Illinois PEL with an ESL endorsement is required. Proven experience as an ESL Teacher or similar role. Experience working with students from diverse language backgrounds. A Bachelor s degree in a related field a Master s degree in TESOL or a related discipline is a plus.
