Enumerator - Senegal

African Management Institute is looking for skilled and detailoriented enumerators to assist with data collection for our Impact Reporting initiative. The role involves data collection adhering to standardized methodologies and supporting entrepreneurs in completing surveys. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving AMIs impact reporting efforts and supporting entrepreneurs.

1.Participate in training sessions and meetings to enhance skills and knowledge related to data collection and survey methodologies at AMI offices.

2.Conduct virtual data collection for the 2023 Impact reporting using a designated survey tool over the phone.

3.Follow a standardized script to ensure consistency and accuracy in data collection.

4.Update an online workbook/ sheet with collected data in accordance with relevant AMI requirements.

5.Adhere to established protocols and procedures while collecting the data.

6.Support entrepreneurs who have not been able to finish the survey by helping them through the process of filling in.

7.Meet all targets set for the number of entrepreneurs/respondents reached within specified timeframes.

8.Maintain confidentiality and integrity of data collected during the survey process.

9.Provide regular updates on progress challenges and any necessary adjustments to the supervisor.

10.Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth coordination and achievement of project objectives.

Requirements

1.Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g. social sciences statistics public health).

2.Previous experience in data collection preferably in a virtual or phonebased setting.

3.Proficiency in using survey tools and online workbooks (e.g. Google Forms Microsoft Excel etc.).

4.Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

5.Good command of English and Kiswahili languages.

6.Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately collect data.

7.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also functioning well within a team environment.

8.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

9.Demonstrated commitment to maintaining data quality and confidentiality.

10.Comfortable working with diverse populations and demonstrating cultural sensitivity.

11.The enumerator should have a Personal Laptop and Mobile phone.
