Your Key Responsibilities
As a Certified Surgical Technologist you will:
- Act as the primary scrub person during surgical procedures ensuring instruments equipment and supplies are ready and sterile.
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery using advanced techniques to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate needs and provide seamless intraoperative support.
- Assist in maintaining the sterile field and uphold the highest standards of patient safety.
- Participate in performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives.
OnCall Requirement: Candidates must reside within 30 minutes of the facility to ensure rapid response times when on call.
What We re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST).
- CPR certification.
- Thorough knowledge of operative procedures surgical equipment and instrumentation.
Preferred Experience:
2 years of hospital surgical experience.
