About the Role
As a Software Developer at Tracab you will design implement and maintain scalable realtime applications using NodeJS and TypeScript. Your work will drive game statistics and player tracking at leading sports venues worldwide with results you can see live during games.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain serverside applications with a focus on realtime systems.
- Implement and optimize communication channels such as WebSockets.
- Build scalable highperformance APIs and backend services.
- Deploy and manage containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Optimize data handling with MongoDB Redis and RabbitMQ.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and troubleshoot issues.
Qualifications
We are looking for a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and fluency in English both written and spoken. You should have a proven ability to tackle complex problems with attention to detail and write clean maintainable code.
- MSc in Computer Science or equivalent expertise.
- Proven experience as a Software Developer specializing in NodeJS/TypeScript.
- Familiarity with realtime communication technologies like WebSockets handling highthroughput lowlatency requirements.
- Strong experience with containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in MongoDB Redis and RabbitMQ with an understanding of their optimal use cases.
- A track record of developing scalable highperformance applications
Its meritorious if you have experience with languages like Go or Rust. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure) and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines or microservices architecture are also valuable.
