Job Description

Detroit engineering firm is seeking a Land Development Project Engineer for their growing office!


Responsibilities:

  • Lead project team in preparation of project drawings calculations and specification
  • Prepare engineering analysis design calculations and reports
  • Evaluate land use/zoning requirements
  • Prepare permit applications work through agency review processes and obtain approvals
  • Site visits during construction phase
  • Work as part of team multidiscipline team
  • Mentor/train junior staff


Requirements:
  • Must be an engineer or designer with experience in land development projects sustainable design utility design and stormwater management design
  • 3 years of design experience on land development projects
  • Experience with K12 site design preferred
  • Familiarity with zoning ordinances/site plan approval processes
  • Proficient in Civil 3D and Office 360 products
