Job Description
Regional consulting firm looking to add a talented Transportation Engineer to their Gary Indiana area office!
Responsibilities:
- Lead/manage technical design of various projects including urban/rural roadways multiuse paths park designs/developments
- Perform Office Manager duties for office including personnel/job assignments
- Responsible for client management and overall project performance metrics
- Review design plans for compliance with federal state and local regulations
- Work with project manager to establish project scope budget timelines and designs
- Communicate/meet with municipal clients including cities utility companies and state agencies
- Mentor/train junior staff
Requirements:
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
- 5 years of experience
- PE License
- Experience working in INDOT project development process construction documentation and administration
- Experience with Microsoft Office AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or MicroStation
