AI or Not is an AI detector helping people and companies fight the risks coming from generative AI. In 1 year we ve gotten 200k users hundreds of clients and large enterprises. We ve raised $5m from leading VCs.


We re a team of missiondriven builders. We have a variety of backgrounds (financial services social media AI research) and have come together to solve one of the most important challenges of today: stopping AI generated misinformation and fraud.

About the Role


AI or Not is entering its growth phase and we are looking for a Growth Marketing Lead to create content the internet can t wait to see.


As a founding member of our marketing team you will have the opportunity to drive the strategy and influence the direction of our marketing organization as well as significant potential for growth.


You are a marketing Swiss Army Knife that has a range of talents in the bag: content marketing social media marketing (video & text based) PR and more. You are just as comfortable creating targeted case studies as you are creating memes.

You are a doer and an experimenter a storyteller and growth driver. You are a selfstarter who thrives on ideating and creating large volumes of content across media platforms. We love dedicated individuals who are passionate about their craft and what s happening in AI.



Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Creating highquality engaging content that drives organic growth and enhances brand visibility.
  • Codevelopment and execution of the overall organic marketing strategy with the executive team.
  • Create large volumes of creative content on a spectrum of major media platforms (e.g. TikTok Instagram Facebook X LinkedIn YouTube).
  • Develop and implement organic media strategies to align with business goals: sales brand building lead generation user acquisition.
  • Create edit and publish engaging highquality content across various platforms including text images and videos.
  • Write content to drive awareness and demand including blogs case studies infographics whitepapers and more.
  • Monitor industry news and identify PR opportunities.
  • Craft compelling press releases and pitch stories to journalists.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts.
  • Secure media coverage to enhance brand visibility.
  • Execute the full content creation process: ideation preproduction capture and postproduction.
  • Develop a content calendar to schedule posts and content effectively.
  • Experiment with new content formats to enhance audience engagement.
  • Develop creative outofthebox content that drives leads without months of lag time
  • Stay updated with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies implementing best practices to continually enhance our marketing strategies.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of driving organic growth.
  • Youve increased traffic and leads through creative outofthebox SEO strategies and content that break the mold.
  • History of launching and growing social media accounts.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms including TikTok Instagram X LinkedIn and Facebook.
  • Familiar with working with almost every content creation format available.
  • Experience with various design tools (your choice!).
  • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail and creativity.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to improve content performance.
  • Understanding of brand development and audience engagement strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team demonstrating initiative and flexibility.

Bonus Points

  • B2B and B2C marketing experience is a huge plus.

AI or Not values inoffice to foster a collaborative work environment and company culture but believe in hybrid. Hybrid office policy: when we have work to do in person you come to the office. When you don t work where you re most comfortable. Expectation is this role is inoffice 23 days a week. Our hub is in San Francisco (SOMA / Financial District).

This role will receive a competitive salary benefits equity. This role will start as a contractor for their first 3 months of employment.
