Job Description
Position Title: SAP BW/BI Analyst (US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain SAP BW data models including InfoObjects InfoProviders and DataStore Objects (DSOs).
- Build and optimize reports and dashboards using SAP BI tools (e.g. SAP BusinessObjects SAP Analytics Cloud).
- Create and manage queries in SAP BW and SAP BI/BO tools to deliver meaningful insights to business users.
- Develop and support ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes within the SAP BW system to ensure accurate data integration from various sources.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of SAP BW/BI systems and data flows.
- Troubleshoot data issues resolve problems and implement solutions in a timely manner.
- Perform system upgrades patches and support the integration of SAP BW with other enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Conduct root cause analysis for reporting discrepancies and data inconsistencies.
- Support business decisionmaking with datadriven insights and analytical reports.
- Document BW/BI processes data models and report designs.
- Provide training and support to endusers on the use of SAP BI tools and reports.
- Create user manuals and guides for system usage and report generation.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams (e.g. business analysts developers project managers) to implement BI solutions.
- Collaborate with SAP functional teams (FI CO SD MM etc.) to ensure proper data extraction and reporting.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve the SAP BW/BI environment workflows and reporting processes.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP BW/BI technologies tools and best practices.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business or a related field.
- SAP BW or BI certification is a plus.
- Experience working with SAP BW and/or BI systems in a similar role.
- Handson experience with SAP BW modeling ETL processes and reporting tools (SAP BusinessObjects SAP Analytics Cloud etc.).
- Experience in working with various data sources (SAP ECC SAP S/4HANA external databases etc.).
- Strong knowledge of SAP BW architecture data modeling and data integration processes.
- Experience with SAP BI tools such as SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence Crystal Reports or SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Proficiency in SQL and other data manipulation languages.
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of SAP HANA and integration with SAP BW.
- Experience with cloudbased BI tools and technologies.
- Understanding of SAP modules such as Finance Sales Logistics or HR is a plus.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
