Job Title: MultiCloud Engineer
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Key Responsibilities: - Design implement and manage multicloud infrastructure across AWS Azure Google Cloud or other platforms. Ensure architecture is scalable secure and costefficient.
- Monitor optimize and manage cloud environments to ensure high availability performance and security across multiple cloud providers.
- Use automation tools and IaC (e.g. Terraform Ansible CloudFormation) to streamline deployment management and scaling of cloud resources.
- Develop strategies for integrating services and applications across different cloud providers while ensuring smooth data flow and consistency.
- Implement best practices for securing cloud infrastructures including identity and access management (IAM) encryption firewall configurations and compliance with industry standards.
- Analyze cloud usage and implement strategies to optimize costs without compromising performance or security.
- Develop and manage multicloud disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of a failure.
- Work closely with DevOps application developers and other IT teams to design and implement cloudnative applications services and infrastructure.
- Provide ongoing support for troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and applications. Address and resolve cloudrelated incidents outages and performance issues.
- Create detailed documentation for cloud environments architectures processes and procedures. Provide regular status updates and performance reports to management.
Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong experience with multiple cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud etc.).
- Proficiency with cloud management tools (e.g. CloudWatch Azure Monitor Google Cloud Operations Suite).
- Handson experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform CloudFormation Ansible).
- Solid understanding of cloud networking including VPCs subnets VPNs and load balancers.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker Kubernetes etc.).
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices including IAM encryption and compliance frameworks (e.g. GDPR HIPAA SOC 2).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines DevOps practices and automation tools.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to interact with technical teams and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Cloud certification(s) such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect is a plus.
- Experience in hybrid and multicloud environments.
- Experience with cloud cost management and optimization tools.
- Knowledge of serverless computing and microservices architectures.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins GitLab or Azure DevOps.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
