Job Description
Job Title: Cloud Tester (US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for cloudbased applications and services.
- Perform functional integration regression performance and security testing for cloud applications.
- Test cloud infrastructure APIs microservices and serverless applications in cloud environments such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Ensure that cloud applications are scalable reliable and meet performance requirements.
- Work with development teams to identify and address bugs defects and performance issues in cloud environments.
- Automate test cases using testing frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium Jenkins JUnit Cucumber Postman).
- Conduct API testing including testing RESTful and SOAPbased services.
- Ensure cloud applications meet security compliance and privacy standards.
- Perform load testing and stress testing to validate the performance of cloud systems under varying loads.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement continuous testing in the CI/CD pipeline.
- Monitor cloudbased application performance and provide insights for improvement.
- Document and report test results highlighting defects and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Cloud Tester QA Engineer or similar role with handson experience in testing cloudbased applications and services.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of testing cloudnative applications microservices APIs and serverless architectures.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure including storage networking and virtual machines.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium JUnit TestNG Postman).
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g. Postman SoapUI Swagger).
- Understanding of CI/CD processes and familiarity with DevOps practices.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter LoadRunner) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and testing for security vulnerabilities.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
