Job Description
Job Title: Systems Administrator (US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:- Install configure and maintain servers networks and other IT infrastructure including onpremise and cloudbased systems.
- Proactively monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Provide technical support and guidance to endusers including problem resolution and training as needed.
- Implement and maintain security measures including firewalls antivirus software and data protection solutions to safeguard against unauthorized access and data breaches.
- Develop and manage system backup and recovery plans to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
- Oversee software updates patches and hardware upgrades to maintain system compatibility and performance.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for systems configurations processes and troubleshooting procedures.
- Work closely with developers project managers and other IT staff to support ongoing projects and align IT systems with organizational goals.
- Ensure systems comply with organizational policies industry standards and legal regulations.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.
- Proficiency in managing and maintaining operating systems such as Windows Server Linux or macOS.
- Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware or HyperV.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Microsoft Azure Google Cloud).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP DNS DHCP and VPNs.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell Python Bash) for automation tasks.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
