Job Description
Job Title: Database Report Writer (US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain reports and dashboards based on business requirements and user needs.
- Collaborate with business analysts and department heads to gather reporting requirements and ensure accuracy and relevance of the reports.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract data from various databases (e.g. SQL Server MySQL Oracle etc.).
- Ensure that reports are accurate consistent and delivered on time.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality report formatting or performance.
- Automate and schedule regular report generation for routine analysis and reporting tasks.
- Develop interactive data visualizations and dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau Power BI or other similar platforms.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends outliers and opportunities for process improvement.
- Document reporting procedures and maintain clear organized data reports.
- Stay up to date with best practices in data management reporting tools and database technologies.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in database reporting data analysis or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction analysis and reporting.
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI Tableau or similar reporting software.
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server MySQL Oracle etc.) and data warehouse environments.
- Ability to work with large datasets and knowledge of data modeling and data integration.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot database or reportrelated issues.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
