Job Description
Job Title: Senior Exchange Engineer (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Design implement and maintain the Microsoft Exchange Server environment including Exchange Online (Office 365) and onpremises Exchange deployments.
- Monitor and optimize Exchange infrastructure for maximum performance availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Exchangerelated issues including email delivery server performance and securityrelated incidents.
- Perform Exchange migrations updates and upgrades (including hybrid migrations between onprem and cloud environments).
- Develop and enforce email security policies including antispam antimalware and data loss prevention strategies.
- Manage mail flow message routing and compliance policies.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure Exchange servers are secure and comply with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Provide expertlevel support for incident and problem management related to Exchange.
- Perform backups disaster recovery planning and ensure business continuity for Exchange services.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and support teams.
- Work closely with project management teams to deliver Exchangerelated projects on time and within scope.
- Maintain documentation for configurations processes and troubleshooting guides.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Exchange including Exchange Server 2013/2016/2019 and Office 365.
- Indepth knowledge of Exchange architecture configuration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with hybrid Exchange deployments (Exchange Online/Office 365 and onpremises).
- Strong experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and management of Exchange services.
- Familiarity with email security protocols (DKIM DMARC SPF) antispam/antimalware tools and message encryption.
- Experience in managing and troubleshooting Exchange migrations and integrations.
- Strong understanding of networking DNS and mail flow concepts.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Exchange Server M365 Certified or equivalent are a plus.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
