Job Description

Job Summary:
Hybrid Visit Facilitator / Medical Assistant role

FV Responsibilities
The Visit Facilitator (VF) monitors the clinicians schedule and assists patients once they have arrived for their appointment. The VF greets the patient in the waiting area and escorts them back to the examination room. Here the VF collects pertinent medical information and updates the patients health record. In addition the VF cleans and prepares the examination rooms before and after each appointment following environmental care and infection prevention standards. The VF may also assist with scheduling and coordinating appointments collecting vitals (weight height blood pressure temperature.) using a machine cleaning instruments and equipment and other administrative tasks as assigned.

Education:

Required Education:
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or LPN.
MA program must be accredited through one of these two websites: or

Preferred Education:
N/A

Required Certifications & Licensure:
BLS AHA.
AAMA Certification.
