Job Description

Position: Sonographer (General)
Location: Bloomington MN

Start Date: Immediate
Employment Type: FullTime
Shift: Days Monday through Friday (1st shift)
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients to visualize internal structures and assess medical conditions.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment ensuring optimal image quality.
- Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
- Analyze and interpret ultrasound images providing accurate and timely reports to healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with medical and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.
- Licensure: Registered with ARDMS or CCI with credentials in vascular ultrasound. Must hold RVT RVS or R.T. (VS) certification.
- Skills: Proficiency in General and Vascular ultrasound is required; Echo experience is a plus.
- Certification: ARDMS CCI RCIS certification is required.
- Vaccination: COVID19 vaccination required.
