Job Description
Position: Medical Assistant
Location: 5592 El Camino Real Carlsbad CA 92008
Pay scale: $27 per hour
Shift: Flexible
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals in clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient patient care.
- Record and update patient medical histories vital signs and other relevant information.
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments assist with examinations and provide patient education.
- Perform basic laboratory tests collect specimens and manage medical records.
- Schedule appointments handle administrative tasks and manage patient communications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in clinical areas ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
Requirements:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
