QE Lead/Manager
Location: Bowling Green KY

Role Overview
The QE Lead/Manager will oversee Quality Engineering (QE) activities for the development and maintenance of ecommerce web applications. This includes ensuring robust test coverage across 15 websites optimizing crossbrowser mobile and tablet functionality and implementing QE and automation improvements.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Planning preparing and executing functional and regression test cases.
- Developing comprehensive test and automation strategies.
- Integrating Cypress and PHP unit tests with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines.
- Driving QE improvements to enhance efficiency accuracy and software quality.
- Leveraging innovative techniques such as GenAI for documentation and QE processes.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership:
- Establish and lead the QE team.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all QE activities.
- Ensure efficient execution of manual and automated testing processes.
- Automation & Tools Development:
- Build and enhance automation frameworks and tools including Cypress.
- Drive integration of automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Conduct endtoend automation testing for web and API platforms.
- Test Planning & Execution:
- Develop maintain and execute manual test cases and automated test scripts.
- Collaborate with DevOps to streamline testing within CI/CD pipelines.
- Process Optimization:
- Plan and implement QE improvements to increase velocity reduce backlog and ship faster.
- Apply advanced tools such as GenAI for documentation and testing enhancements.
- Client Collaboration:
- Engage effectively with clients to understand requirements and deliver exceptional results.
Qualifications
- Handson experience as a QE Lead/Manager including setting up QE teams.
- Expertise in automation tools particularly Cypress with extensive experience in:
- Web and API automation.
- Crossbrowser testing for mobile and web applications.
- Endtoend test automation.
- Strong background in QE strategy planning and execution.
- Proven track record of integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent client interaction and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with GenAI for QErelated tasks is a plus.
Testing Suite Composition:
- 60% manual testing
- 40% automated testing
